I know your garden through and through,
Every leaf and petal, I nurtured.
I watered your grass and tended your soil,
And left my own garden deserted.
I planted my lillies where your poppies lay,
And daisies among your Roses.
And while your new garden begins to open,
The gateway to mine, it closes.
Spring now here, your flowers a-bloom,
Your garden no longer needs tending.
You cast me away, to a land of my own,
I am alone and my garden needs mending.
Now My daffodils are dying and I don’t know what to do.
-Nessie Roswell

What is this that I have just read
It is the epitome poetry I dare said
From the works of Shakespeare to nessie i only leech.
As the brilliance of writing is beyond my reach.
Day to day the lexicon looks at me in spite.
But I do not worry since I have this poem that let’s me sleep at night.
